#7: Body Copy

In lieu of the still-to-come product features, Ryan decides to use stand-in body copy.

To avoid confusion with regard to the transition from Kitty Almazan to Carl Zeno Manalo as the illustrator for Ad Man Overboard, I've decided to re-introduce the characters.

From left to right: Jane (account director), Ryan (art director), Dweeb (copywriter), Bess (Account Executive)

Ad Man Overboard #7 will be posted in a bit!

# 5: Points Of View

Accounts and Creatives have different opinions on who's really pulling whose strings. But aren't we all answerable to the clients?

#3 - Drinks

We meet Bess the AE, and Ryan gets to know another side of Dweeb.

New Artist

Starting post #3, Ad Man Overboard will no longer be drawn by Chi Roque. Not that we don't get along, it's just that Chi is still currently a student and I do understand that her schoolwork takes top priority over this and other side projects.

That said, we say a fond goodbye to Chi and a warm hello to our new artist Kitty Almazan. Kitty is a colleague of mine; we worked together (but not really) a few years ago in Saatchi. She's now working at Harrison, and when she found out that I needed a new artist for Ad Man Overboard she was more than willing to pitch in.

So there it is, people. We've got a regular story going. My writing style does a good job of hiding my excitement over this comic strip. Hehehehe.
